African-American women die at higher rates than any other group of women in America. In fact, African-American women are more likely to die from preventable, obesity-related diseases such as breast cancer, diabetes, and heart disease than all other women in the United States. Despite these facts, African-American women can take charge of their own health and walk their way to healthier, longer, and fuller lives!
